Badass Photo Retreat

Beautiful scenery, beautiful models: some things are easy to sell. Still, we wanted to push artistically this promotional film for the Badass Photo Retreat as far as we could. There was an energy on the retreat created between the models and photographers (not to mention the gorgeous terrain) that couldn’t be expressed simply with documentary-style footage, so our cinematographer shot the piece with a soundtrack in mind which made editing the film to music a breeze. We then had a digital colorist enhance the footage to replicate the effect of clear, vivid California sunlight.
