Portland United for Change Campaign Video – Measure 26-228 Lightbox Filmworks | Video Production Portland

Portland United for Change

This Portland United for Change campaign video centers on a simple but powerful idea. Even when people do not always agree, they can still come together around the need for real change.

The film follows two Portland community members, Andrew and Melanie. While they often see issues differently, this year they are aligned. Both are voting yes on Measure 26-228 because they believe Portland needs a more accountable, effective, and responsive city government. They also believe voters deserve more choice in how leaders are selected.

Finding Common Ground

Shot in a straightforward, documentary style, the spot focuses on honest conversation. Instead of relying on political talking points, it highlights shared values and lived perspective. As a result, the message feels personal and approachable.

At the same time, the film reinforces the urgency of the moment. By emphasizing common ground over division, it reflects a collective desire for a city government that works better for everyone in Portland.

A Campaign Built on Clarity

Designed as a 30-second campaign spot, the video was created for clarity and impact. The pacing stays tight, and the storytelling remains grounded in real voices. Ultimately, the piece shows how simple conversations can help move civic dialogue forward.

This project is part of our broader Public Interest & Civic Impact work focused on community voice, accountability, and clear civic storytelling.
